Now You Know is a world-class facial recognition platform solution that can be utilised for pro-active retail loss prevention or for private safety or monitoring applications. The Now You Know platform can also be used for business analytics. It can measure traffic, profile of visitors and frequency of repeat visitors.
This app complements the Administrative portal account for the Now You Know solution and allows some of the functions of the Admin portal to be viewed and/or performed via this mobile device app. Functions such as:-
- view a list of faces that have been processed from each camera;
- filter faces by camera;
- filter faces by subject type;
- receive report updates from edge devices;
- receive notifications and alerts;
- Wi-Fi connection information to help set up devices; and
- Photos/Media/Files used to take and store camera snapshots.
Some of the features of the app will require opt in permission from your mobile device to be selected before they can be used.

The app is a companion application to a subscriber based loss prevention system using facial recognition technology.

The app itself does not collect any facial data and is used for reporting or categorising data collected on the cloud platform.

The typical user of the system will be the supervisors or management staff at a commercial business who have bought and subscribed to our security camera services (which need to be installed by trained professionals) and want push notifications to alert them when persons of interest enter a store (whether they be VIPs or people who are banned). Only the people who have been specifically tasked with accessing the data from within the subscribing organisation will be able to access the data, none of which is held on or taken from the phone app. If a user (active subscriber) decides to diseminate any of the data held within the system, its likely to be to a security firm or with law enforcement.

Any analytics data shown within the app (number of visitors / age / gender) is for the use of the subscribers organisation only.
